1) Some cliches we do not want to see are a teen pregnancy type of show, in p.e the kids do not have to climb a rope or take a shower after, and portraying the cafeteria food to be really gross. 


2) The for our show the premise would be seeing how  a rich kid and a poor kid come together to be best friends because they both are outcast at school (both play soccer)

Concept 19

The issue I feel most  about is teens using drugs and drinking at a young age. If I was given 15 minutes to write a shirt to communicate to the audience I would chose any teen that I could find as the main character and have the setting be at a party. and the main character get pureed pressured into drinking and he says no to his friends and drama breaks out. 

Concept 15

I would say that right now the theme of our episode is confusing a lot of things are going down. I would although say trust is a sub theme. Being that certain things happen that need the trust of others.

Citizen Kane

I liked the non-linear structure of Citizen Kane because it made the movie interesting. I liked how it gave different perspectives. An advantage is that it can made the movie interesting. The disadvantage is that it you may get lost in what is going on. I think it was a good movie but not the greatest movie of all time because we have already been introduced to other non-linear movies.

Charles Foster Kane

He is dead. He lived in a big house. He was a foster child at 12.

My favorite Freaks and Geeks

My favorite episode so far was Kim Kelly is my friend. The reason why is because it had a lot of conflicts. One being how Kim's parents are and the cheating. This was by far the funniest episode.

NICK

Come on Lindsay you have to go. For me?

Lindsay

I don’t know. I have never done that.

Daniel

It’s easy you just open your window and jump out of it.

KIM

DANIEL

Freaks and Geeks

1) After watching three episodes of Freaks and Geeks I know a little bit more of Lindsay. One thing for sure is that she is trying to fit in with a group of people who are completely different from her.

2) Some major plots in the Halloween episode of Freaks and Geeks would be when the mom is getting ready for Halloween, Lindsay going out with the Geeks, and Sam trick or treating with his friends

3) The way the plot and for the mom getting ready for Halloween ends up the way she wants it by having her and Lindsay giving out candy to little kids.

Concept 10

1) Some subject that I know really well in is how to be a high school student. With this I could make a short film on how not to procrastinate when you do your homework, how to deal with high school drama and other issues involved in high school.

2) If I was writing a short film about a subject I am totally unfamiliar with and I had to see what resources I had at home I would be limited. If I had to look at a library or the internet those would be the most useful because in a library there are lots of books on different subject. With the internet I could look up about everything.

3) A subject I know nothing on would be art. I would probably do research on the topic and ask people I know who do a lot of art how it is and what kinds of art is out there in the world.

Concept 7 #2

In the film I wrote I believe that the is really about 30 minutes of real time. If the film was 15 minutes long I would say about 20% of real time would be in it.

Concept #9 #1

             I would pick Jack Dawson from Titanic, the main conflict would be trying to escape from the daycare in Toy Story 3 and the setting is in Hogwarts from Harry Potter. The way I would combine all of these stories together would be that Jack Dawson would be trying to help the toys get out of Hogwarts and to get back to Andy's bedroom before he leaves to college. I think that this movie could be for teens who still have that kid side in them.

Concept #8

1) So the scene is that both Reese Witherspoon is at her locker getting ready for the football game for her school. While she was getting her pom pomps out of her locker. While she is pulling them out she drops all of her stuff. While she goes and grabs her chemistry book she sees Orlando Bloom helping her. They both start talking about the game and who they think is going to win. Then Orlando ask Reese if she would like to walk with him to the game and she agrees.

3) In my 5-minute short the setting is at a cemetery. The plot of the story is that this priest is looking at a couple of tombstones in a cemetery and he writes down the people's name. The thing he is trying to do is find the significants of this cemetery because all of the tombstones are by alphabetical order and the people all died with in 3 years of each other.

Freaks and Geeks Scene

 LINDSAY (O.S)

                                               I'm a girl. You wanna see what it's be like

ALAN

                                            (surprised, then recovers)

                                               Ooo, Weird's sister has to protect him

LINDSAY

                                               His name is no Weird you freak.

ALAN

                      (mad face)

                                               What are you the name police. Oh and I'm not a freak

LINDSAY

                     (laughs)

ALAN

                                              Well I couldn't help but hear that you want

                     Alan stares at her, not sure what to do. She takes a step

                     closer, like she might actually fight him. Alan steps back.

High School T.V Shows

 The reason I like Glee is because I like the songs they sing and I like how the talk about how to deal with high school.

 I love That 70's Show because its funny. The way they show high school problems through some comedy. They make high school drama into funny high school drama.

Now I like Switched at Birth because it talks on how it is to realize that your whole life could have been different when you are switched at birth. On the plus side with high school issues. For example boyfriends.

Shorts name: One Man Band

     1. 18 yrs. old, 20 yrs. old, 10 yrs. old; two males one female; three people
     2. one location
     3. problem: two one man bands one girl with one coin; solution: little girl gets a lot of coins and the two man bands get nothing
     4. Four minutes and 30 seconds. The think I like how is how desperate the two men are to get this coin out of the little girl. The thing I dislike about it is how it just shows a random person give the girl a big bag at the end they could have made it funnier like having a big group of people came to hear the girl. 

Short Script Reflection

In my short film I would say that my best scene is when Carmen tells Ms. Louis how she crashed her car into the tree. The reason I like it is because of how Ms. Louis reaction is to when she sees the car.  I would say my worst scene is when Carmen tells Ms. Beth how her house got dirty. I just feel that there was not enough detail in that scene. The thing that I would do to improve my script is that I would try and cut the beginning a little bit. If I have a short beginning I can have more details of what is going on later on in the script.
